Overview
This hīkoi takes place through Harbourview–Orangihina Park, a coastal reserve overlooking the Waitematā Harbour. The area holds ecological, cultural, and historical significance and offers wide views across the harbour and surrounding landscape.
Participants walk together through the park while listening to site-specific pūrākau, whakataukī, waiata, and the sounds of nature through pre-recorded headphones. The experience shares kōrero connected to the land and introduces the histories and whakapapa associated with this part of West Auckland.
